School ki kuch yaadein!!!

Being in School has been the most unforgettable experience of my life. If I compare my life with a book then the most interesting chapter is my School days. It used to be so much apart from studies and exams. I am a Bal Bhartian where in sports and other co curricular activities were given similar importance to studies.

We were always encouraged to take part in debates, quiz, games. We were all so enthusiastic to make arrangements for Teachers day, Annual Day, Sports day etc.
That all was to be done in the Zero period and after that go back to classes for studies.

Debates and quizes were conducted at frequent intervals to completely groom a child persona i participated in all the debates and quiz. The most memorable of them all were when i got second position in debate and the topic was "Our Education system". In our schools there were different houses as Red, Green, Yellow and Blue. i belonged to Red house and was the vice-captain of my house and all the teachers of the house were so happy about my achievement. Our group stood first in the "Computer Quiz" conducted in the school by Educomp. It was memorable in its own sense coz at the end it was tie between our Red house group and Blue house group and the tie breaker question was asked thrice after we finally won it.

Preparations for teachers day were carried out with great zeal coz that the was one day when we use to get to be in the shoes of our teachers and it used to be so much fun at the end of the day we all use to gather give titles to our teachers according to their personalities and even crack jokes on them that day was an exception for us.

Radio shows were conducted in the assembly and teachers were interviewed. Our first radio show was conducted in our class room and we interviewed our Respected Principal Mam Ms. Jolly Joseph. That was very memorable experience. One more incident that i remember with her was on our Founders Day rehearsal. She was supposed to give us our batches for captain and vice-captain that day. So after she finished with the batches and shaking hands at then end she said All the girls are delicate darlings i.e. girls didn't had a firm grip like boys while shaking hand. We all laughed so much that day!!

Like wise there are many more incidents that come across my mind when i think about my school. What are yours??
